Reference
Each part of the notification settings is also a wiki macro, so a wiki can present the settings somewhere other than the user profile, for instance on a page of its own welcome space.
| Macro | Displays | Parameters |
|---|---|---|
{{notificationsApplicationsPreferences/}} | The applications and their event types | target, user |
{{notificationsEmailPreferences/}} | The mail frequency and the level of detail | target, user |
{{notificationsAutoWatchPreferences/}} | The automatic page watching setting | target, user |
{{notificationsSystemFiltersPreferences/}} | The system filters and their switches | target, user |
{{notificationsCustomFiltersPreferences/}} | The custom filters, with the button that adds one | target, user |
target is user or wiki, and selects whose preferences are displayed: those of a user, or those of the current wiki. user names that user, and defaults to the current one. Editing another user's preferences requires the right to edit their profile.

The older {{notificationsFiltersPreferences/}} macro displayed the system and custom filters in one table and is deprecated; use the two macros that replaced it.
FAQ
Does a macro check rights?
Yes. A user who may not edit the profile named by the user parameter sees nothing they can change.
